The scores management is an important part of educational administration andstudents management in college, and it also plays a vital role in college evaluation. As apublic compulsory course, physical education is opened to6000students in our college,so there is huge scores data, which need to be recorded and gather statistic at the end ofeach term. However, manually inputting data costs a lot of time and easily causesmistake. Especially in2007,the STATE COUNCIL enacted law---“CPC CentralCommittee and the State Council on strengthening P.E education and improving thehealth of young people”, and the Ministry of education and the State Sports GeneralAdministration also enacted–“The National Student Physical Health Standard”, bothrequiring our college to implement relevant rules proposed by Ministry Of Educationand the Provincial Department of Education and timely report accurate test data to TheState Test Database and Provincial Health Testing Center.In order to improve the efficiency in working, it has great significance to designand develop a new P.E scores management system according to the actual situation ofour college, aiming to seamless integration with college educational system and thenational students’ physical health data in the area of student score management andphysical health data.The paper analyzes the basic situation, background of project and the significanceof completing the project on student score management in P.E&ART department. Theproject plans to adopt ASP.NET development technology and uses SOL SERVER2005as its database design platform in its system to carry out testing, and then finally makethe system work.The composition of students’ P.E score management system is as bellow:1. Build database of score management system according to actual teachingsituation in college after investigating and learning the current score managementsituation, and make function module design of the system to meet different demands2. Use software-"SQL SERVER2005" to design database of P.E scoresmanagement system to input the basic information such as teacher, class, students’ scores etc.3. Design system modules by ASP.NET development technology to meet thedemand for P.E. score management system.4. Implement a strict regulation on limit of authority in management, and enhancethe data security and system security5. Run testing-operation in our P.E&ART DEPARTMENT CENTER afterdebugging.
