Design And Demonstration Of Occupational Health Survey Plan For Archivists

Occupational health has drawn more and more attention since protection on occupational health was embedded in the project of “Healthy China Initiative”.As for the archives industry,the occupational health of archivists has not gotten enough attention.Currently,archival scientists' cognition towards occupational health issues is still fragmented and immethodical,and the practice department also doesn't have a clear understanding on the health of archivists.In order to learn about the occupational health condition of archivists as far as possible,it is necessary to carry out occupational health survey plan for archivists.The theme of thesis is occupational health survey plan for archivists,which is the essential precondition for the implement of occupational health survey for archivists.In addition,it makes for the expansion of the archives research field to take archivists as the research object,carry out the research based on the archivists and their working environment and pay attention to the occupational health condition of archivists.The archivists' occupational health survey plan includes four aspects.Firstly,Chapter 2 defines several concepts such as Archivist,Occupational Health and Survey Plan,and it also analyses the theoretical aspects of this thesis such as Archives Management Theory,Occupational Health Theory and Statistics Theory.Secondly,it puts forward the theoretical basis for the design of the archivists' occupational health survey plan,which includes the necessity and possibility of this project deeply.It also follows the principle of objectivity,scientificity,operability and purposefulness,the objectives that the design should achieve include figuring out the status quo,identifying risks,publicizing and education,and providing policy recommendations.This part is in Chapter 3 and Chapter 4.Thirdly,it talks about the content and implementation design of this thesis.Content design includes the purpose,objects and methods of the survey,as well as the survey content and survey materials.The survey content includes the investigation of the physical health and mental health of archivists.In terms of implementation design,it puts forward the implementation path in different stages of the survey from three guarantees of organization,technology and quality.This part is in Chapter 5 and Chapter 6.Fourth,it is mainly about the demonstration of the survey plan.The thesis selects some archivists from comprehensive archives and carries out actual demonstration,and revises the contents of survey plan,which are listed in chapter 7.The last chapter of the thesis summarizes the main conclusions and points out the shortcoming of the research,and further discusses the future research prospective of this work.
