After more than ten years development, substation automation technology hasreached a certain level. In recent years, automation technology has been greatly applyedin renovation and construction in power grid. Traditional substation gradually developsto the direction of intelligent digital substation. Electric power communication standardsIEC61850further speed up the popularization of the intelligent substation process, andbrings a new task to the online monitoring technology about substation equipment.For substation becomes more and more complex, it is necessary to use a kindof special instrument to record information the IED transferred. Through analysising themessage, we can master working conditions of the substation and the network statuseffectively and detect abnormal conditions in the substation in time. Exploiting the testequipment based on IEC61850system has an important significance in electronicsubstation. The fiber-optic signal analyzer we designed is an online monitoringequipment for power system, and it is used to analyze the optical messages of samplingvalue message and GOOSE message based on IEC61850and alarm anomalies in thenetwork. It provides an effective basis for accident diagnosis and maintenance.This thesis introduces the design and implementation of the software in the samplesvalue analysis module which is included in fiber-optic signal analyzer, and the maincontents include:1. Analysised the background and present development status at home and abroad ofthe power fiber-optic signal analyzer.2. Analysised the IEC61850-9-1and IEC61850-9-2standards, introduced thehardware of the development platform and customized embedded linux systemaccording to the actual development needs, then set up the experimental environment.3. Designed the whole software modules according to the functions of the signalanalyzer which includes analysation of the SCL configuration files, capturing andencoding SV and GOOSE messages, realization of the original message storage. At last,introduced the multi-thread technology we used.4. Tested the function of the software we designed.
