RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) technology in recent years has developedvery quickly, as the key technology of the Internet of Things is widely used in logistics, transportation and other fields. UHF RFID technology develops more rapidly, librariesusing UHF RFID technology is an important direction for future development. This paper mainly studies the application of RFID technology in the library fieldand the security of RFID systems. Previous library using RFID technology in mostcases, the high-frequency ie, the frequency of13.56MHz RFID technology, UHF RFIDtechnology used in this study. It’s operating frequency is926MHz. UHF RFIDtechnologies has advantages in read and write distance and transmission rate ccomparedto higher high frequency RFID technology, and thus the UHF RFID technology is moresuitable for the library. The study conducted a study on RFID security. First, the study researchs principleof RFID systems and ISO18000-6C standard, finding potential security issues in RFIDsystems. The study also studies its security risks refer to the field of RFID library.Compare DES,3DES, AES, RSA, ECC and other encryption algorithms, and achievingusing ECC encryption algorithm to encrypt. The study designs the RFID library securityauthentication protocol based on ECC algorithm. The aim is to improve security andprotect users’ privacy in RFID systems. The study also analyzes the agreement’s resistattack. This study designed RFID technology-based library trolley system. After a fullinvestigation of the library, found that putting books back to Corresponding shelf andinventory dependent on manual operation have complex process, so the efficiency is nothigh. The study designed RFID technology-based library trolley system based on actualdemand. This design consists of seven sub-function modules. Designed system providesa convenient, for readers and library staff to improve efficiency, reduce the burden onthe library staff. Finally, build a small library and design a comprehensive test results show that this well-designed application of RFID in the library system improves library automationand level of intelligent.
