As a way of realizing the information resources sharing of books, archives and cultural relics, Centralized Management intends to realize the information sharing through the concentration of the carriers. Because most of today’s books, archives and cultural relics are stored in the libraries, archives and museums, we realize the geographical concentration of the carries through the merger of three custodian organizations. The article just takes this merger as key point and demonstrates not only the concept and content, but also the feasibility, necessity and specific measures of implementing of the Centralized Management of Books, Archives and Cultural Relics in detail.This article mainly divided into four parts:The first part focuses on the differences between "Centralized Management" and "Integration Management" to carry out easy-to-digest discussed on Chinese ideogram, and then accurately defined the concept of Centralized Management of Books, Archives and Cultural Relics. After that we discuss the content of Centralized Management in detail, from the merger of institutions and the respect of their own managerial approach of the books, archives and cultural relics.The second part demonstrates the necessity of implementing the Centralized Management of Books, Archives and Cultural Relics. Firstly, the Centralized Management is a way of realizing the resource concentration and sharing of the books, archives and cultural relics. If the information resource concentration and sharing is necessary, the Centralized Management of Books, Archives and Cultural Relics is also necessary. Secondly, unique value of the Centralized Management will be explored through the analysis of actual cases.The third part argues the feasibility of implementing the Centralized Management of Books, Archives and Cultural Relics. Firstly, as a long-history managerial approach, the Centralized Management of Books, Archives and Cultural Relics has transferred for so many years. It would be necessity and feasibility. Secondly, the consolidated basis of the libraries, archives and museums is excellently set forth.The last part discusses the specific measures of implementing the Centralized Management of Books, Archives and Cultural Relics. Actually, this is also part of the content of the Centralized Management.
