Green publish is a concept proposed in the last two years, which went though by several stages. It usually appeared in the newspaper and internet in the beginning, which means the publishing industry saving resource and protecting environment. As the digital publishing developed, the concept was used to name it.Although the concept of green publish has existed for several years, the academic circles have not paid much attention or made deep research on it. In this dissertation I discussed the green publish connected with the industry, especially concerned the nature of the concept. The dissertation complemented this concept and made it more abundant.As a new subject, the publish has not got it own integrated theory system. Communication is the nature character of publish. It is not very regular that a dissertation make the research put publish and communication together in a visual field. I make the research between traditional publish and the new green publish, with the theory of communication. The focal point was the factor, model and effect of the publish communication behavior.Chapter2follow closely with the question of how the concept came out, what is the nature of the concept and the difference between green concept and similar concepts. Chapter3and4analyze the publish factor and content separately in order to answer the question of why we had to develop green publish and how we would deal with it. Both of the static factors and dynamic model have been discussed in the chapter3. It is necessary to develop the health and positive content which is mentioned in chapter4. As the development of digital publish, not only the good effects happen, the challenge of digital divide would appear. After the forth chapter, I gave the conclusion of my analysis.The character of role in the process of green publish communication has changed a lot. The role who is in charge of passing message and information has been less professional and the sense of authority has released. The audience are more random and they did not rely on the limits of space and time as the same as the past. The feedback from the audience is more and more important in the communication process and even could be the beginning and information source. A totally new communication model happens in the searching reading process which is in the reverse direction. The rights of the public have been satisfied in a high level.
