Network dissection is a hot topic with the rise of computer network. The content of it is toanalyze the given network packet and show the detail result of packet after dissection. Contractto the traditional way of text notes, it can be presented clearly and directly. So this topic can bewidely used in network device manufactures, internet service agency, government or militarydepartment. It means a big demand for these departments.Some products have come out abroad, and domestic research has just startup. All thesesoftware can make a completely detailed dissection on one packet, some even have their owncharacters. However, some disadvantages have narrowed their way to become popular. Such asunsatisfied performance, inconvenient to use, not supported by all platforms, can only be usedwith Ethernet, etc. more work should be done on the improvement of efficiency and high speedof network.This paper aims at providing an easy, efficient network protocol dissection server, whichwill combine advantages of current software and avoid disadvantage of them, and make deeplydiscussion about it. Here we talk about the background and current progress about it, after a listof key design to be discussed, there comes improvements on algorism, architecture, choice ofsome key point, plug-ins and so on.This paper improved most of key designs of dissection server, which is based on thesoftware we have. It leads to more convenience, better performance, easy to use and so on. At thesame time, It will be a useful reference of future improvement.
