Research Of The SSL/TLS Protocol In The Application Of The Electronic Commerce

At present, the development of e-commerce is very fast. In the electronic commerce, businesses,consumers,Banks and other parties connect and transmite informations with others through Internet. Because of the Internet's openness and unpredictability, e-commerce faces with increasing safety problems. Therefore, many security technology about electronic commerce network emerge. SSL/TLS is one representative technology of these.Almost all of the main WEB browsers are integrating with the SSL/TLS protocol, users don't need any installation and configuration process before using. In addition, SSL/TLS protocol useing x.509 to certificate the users and servers'identity, using encryption algorithm to encrypte the datas of the application layer and using MD5 algorithm to ensure the integrality of the information in the transmission process. All of the technologis ensure the reliability, confidentiality and integrity of the process in e-commerce transactions.Therefore, studing the SSL/TLS protocol and then improving its safety is very necessary.This article researches the SSL/TLS protocol based on e-commerce security requirements and network security protocol. First, analyze the SSL protocol version, structure and security; Then, capture the real-time data of an online shopping process and analysis the SSL/TLS communication process in details; Finally, constructs experimental platform with the protection of SSL/TLS protocol. Captures the datas in safe mode and unsafe mode of communication process which verifies the SSL/TLS effective protection of business data.
