A gyro vibration test and analysis system, which belongs to one of the projects of No.707Research Institute of China Shipbuilding Industry Corporation, had been designed and developed by Changchun university of technology. One part of this project named sensor head positioning subsystem was researched in this paper. In this subsystem, the X-AXIS sensor-head and Y-AXIS sensor-head can be putted at a specified position by electrical way before gyro vibration test and analysis system working. In order to better fulfill this function, this subsystem was made. In this subsystem, we choose a hybrid stepping motor as executive components and the DSP2407chip as MCU and the Fuzzy-PID control algorithm as a control strategy. This subsystem contains two processes. The first one is a rough adjustment process, it can be completed by adjusting a potentiometer. The second one is a precision adjustment, it can be completed by the sensor-head.In the paper, we mainly research the following aspects:the first one is subsystem’s test platform and mechanical transmission; the second one is Fuzzy-PID control algorithm; the third one is subsystem’s hardware; the fourth one is subsystem’s software. Among them, Fuzzy-PID control algorithm and hardware(such as power supply circuit, DSP circuit, sampling circuit and hybrid stepping motor driving circuit) are the focus of research content in this paper.In the end, we test the sensor head positioning subsystem over and over again. The results show that the subsystem has good performance (the probe positioning of the absolute error<100μm, and the locating time<13s) and it meets the design requirements.
