The electronic payment industry is facing various problems and obstacles. Dueto payment bottlenecks at cross-bank, various payment gateway, different interface standard,complex process of transaction and certification, the existing electronic payment system cannot meet the requirements of collaborative e-commerce from the view of practice. Inaddition, there is an urgent consideration that to establish a reasonable interest relationshipamong all the participants in this industry for the pattern of the formation of theinterdependence and mutual restraint, mutual benefit and win-win. On this background, thethesis proposes the establishment of a unified electronic payment platform and a paymentprotocol on it to achieve the integration of payment resources and process. Meanwhile,clarify the relationship among the participants in electronic payment, and help to achieve apayment environment with high efficiency, low cost, easy supervision, common assessment.Through the analysis of fourth-party e-commerce environment, this thesis build a unifiedpayment platform system, describe a unified payment process on the platform, design a safe,fair and efficient payment protocol based on the platform and payment process.Assisted protocol design, the thesis also describes the security system and design goals of theprotocol on the basis of analyzing security needs and performance requirements for electronicpayment protocol. In addition, using the BAN logic formal analysis certification issues inprotocol. Finally, a unified credit assessment mechanism at fourth-party e-commerceenvironment is proposed according to the performance of unified payment protocol.The innovation of the thesis is mainly reflected in the following two aspects:1) Design the unified payment protocol based on platform and process. The protocol isincluding registration protocol, main payment protocol, return protocol and replacementprotocol. Previous work includes depicting a unified payment platform system with business,management, payment, interface and certification these five sub-systems; introducing theconcept of virtual account and describing unified payment process on the platform.2) Propose a separate business credit assessment mechanism based on the unified paymentprotocol in fourth-party e-commerce environment.
