Nowadays, China Telecom CDMA network continues to improve, the number of usersand traffic volume rising faster and faster.CDMA network`s signal coverage is gettingbetter and better. But at the same time in different regions of the boundary between thesignal became multiple coverage, and because the station equipment for network isisotropic.Leading to complex near the border of signal, switching in different ways,handover success rate is poor, all of these affect the user’s application. How to optimize theboundary of the hard handoff problem is the most important optimization medium ofpresent CDMA network.This paper first briefly introduces the CDMA cellular mobile communication principleand application of basic knowledge, spread spectrum communication, to optimize and testfoundation for application. Due to the boundary of hard switching analysis mainly rely onrepeated testing and adjusting the test again, and then introduced the network optimizationequipment and method discussion on network, the selection of optimization methods,technique described in terms of such analysis. Then through the analysis of CDMAboundary hard switching process is introduced as well as existing in network equipmentmanufacturers to switch.Two ways of contrast, so that the main cause of switchingboundary. Then the network optimization and process analysis, through the operation of thedatabase, the road test data analysis, adjusting the RF antenna and the parameters ofvarious means such as boundary, switching system adjustment, improve the overall qualityof network. Finally summarizes the CDMA boundary hard handoff optimization processand methods, and some difficult problems to be solved are proposed.This article through to the CDMA boundary hard handoff optimization approach tosummarize, Qing Guang high speed as well as the Guangfo high-speed switching seamlesscoverage and normal to make a qualitative improvement, achieved the optimization goal, toenable the network to achieve the scale is the at present under optimum performance andquality. By three months of the optimization process, the system parameters andmeasurement index, including user complaints have been greatly improved, but also for theother network also provides a guiding role.
