| With the development of Internet and communication technology, variouskinds of consumer electronics and equipments based on the network constantlypoured into public life. The concept of digital home networks and the research of itsrelevant technologies have been also spreading and developing rapidly. In theequipments of digital home products, the digital TV is one of the indispensableequipments. And the multimedia adapter is one important part of the digitaltelevision. With the development of digital TV, the functions and the performance ofthe multimedia adapter are more and more demanding, therefore the research ofmultimedia adapter is very meaningful.This paper uses the high performance processing chip of Amlogic8726as thecore and takes Android as the operating system, to design a high practicability andoperationability multimedia adapter system scheme based on the framework ofUPnP protocol. First, the paper designs the hardware development platform basedon the Amlogic8726chip. Then Uboot loader program is loaded into theAmlogic8726development platform, the configuration and compilation of LinuxKernel is transplanted to the target board, and Android file system is also deliveredto the target board through net interface or serial port. The whole run environmentfor the multimedia adapter system is set up.Secondly, this paper emphatically introduces the research and analysis of theUPnP protocol, and describes the new UPnP AV architecture, its workflow and thebasic conception. This article realizes the deployment and operation environment ofUPnP protocol on the Android operating system by the Cling framework and its APIinterfaces, and solves the interconnected problem of multimedia adapter. Finally, onthis basis, a simple media player with control function is made based on decodinglibrary of the open source FFmpeg framework which is needed to be optimized, andthe UI layout of the media player is also designed. With a strong universality, thisplayer can be installed and run on any Android operating system above version2.2.The process of each module realization is given in details. By debugging the basic function of multimedia adapter and testing the playing effect of player, the expectedresult of the design is obtained.Through the research and implementation of multimedia adapter, the systemstructure has the characteristics such as level explicit and strong extensibility. Iteffectively solves the communication problem between all kinds of equipment in thehome network and video streaming playing, and is applicable to various mobileterminal equipments. The multimedia adapter can be not only used in digital TV andInternet TV, but also added with browser, video dialogue and as well used in familynetwork applications. |
