| Femto,called femtocell,is a home base station equipment which is low trandmitpower,small-scale coverage,fixed broadband access network for the return trip.It is a emeringproduct which is mainly used for improving the indoor coverage just like home andoffice.Femto is not only a hot technology which is considered a means of solving the indoorcoverage by the industry,but also a way of fixed and mobile network convergence.Femto hasmany advantages like simple structure,low cost,low-cost network construction,improving thequality of indoor communication obviously,providing high-speed data services and soon.So,operates and equipment manufacturers have paid attention to Femo,invested heavily indevelopment and commercial several years ago.The topic of this thesis is based on the project “TD_Femto Product Developmentâ€.It isbased on the TD_SCDMA standard and3GPP protocol.The aim of this project is toimplement enterprise-class TD_Femto system,provide full-service function of releasefouth,achive a certain scale commercial.In conjunction with this project,Iu interface protocol of the TD_SCDMA standard isdescribes detially in this thesis,including the IU-CS protocol stack,IU-PS protocol stack andthe RANAP related processes.Then,according to the need of the project,the requirement of Iusystem is devided into some use cases:Establish Iu Connection,Release IuConnection,Transmit Direct Transfer Message,Process Common ID Message.Base on theanalysis results,this thesis designs and develops the key module of Iu system,include the Iumain control module,the establishment of the Iu connection module,the release of the Iuconnection,the UE registration module.The main control module manages and controls theother modules to make sure the normal operation.Iu interface is responsible for the signalingof the network side.The network environment is so complex and changeable that there arevarious abnormal processes.So,Iu system use a exception handling mechanism which isdescribed in detail to handle the abnormal processes.Meanwhile,the detail of software designscheme is given,including the software flow chart and timing diagram.Base upon the development of the TD_Femto system,the Iu system designed in this thesis can handle all of the network signaling include the abnormal processing.After the unittesting,intergration testing and real environment testing,TD_Femto system achive the basicfunction.Fanally,TD_Femto system realize the voice call,video call and provide internetbusiness. |
