Nowadays the network video technology is becoming more and more advanced,especially for the network video technology based on P2P streaming media, and meanwhilethere are more successful products at home and abroad. For most of network live broadcastservice providers, most current P2P video management software can only real-time broadcastbut can’t control and manage the live broadcast content, also cannot stop the spread of thevideo content when the accident occurred.In this paper, two applications which could manage and control video live broadcastwere designed: live broadcast monitoring system that based on Publish Server, live broadcastmonitoring system that based on streaming media control. These two applications enable theadministrator to manage and control content of video live broadcast. The former updateresources in the buffer through Publish Server, and make the client passively established alink to accept the data. This method can meet the switching of local video resources andstreaming media with different code rate, but there would be a short pause in switchingprocess. The latter manage multipath live streaming and recode one of them into another livestreaming, in this case the media data that Publish Server accepted will be stable. When theadministrator switches the other live streaming, it would not affect the whole P2P network,but the encoding of multipath video streaming must be consistent. The emphasis of theresearch on the management and control of video live broadcast is to effectively overseedifferent resources, and combine with DirectShow technology to control the synchronizationand switching of audio and video data. The difficulty of the system is how to ensure stabilityand smoothness in the video transition process.This paper designed two applications that could manage and control video live broadcast,and fully considered generality, safety and real-time of the P2P live broadcast system.Administrators are able to monitor and manage live content, thus to provide users with bettervideo content experience. The actual operation situation proved that the application programthis paper designed can meet the design requirements.
