In recent years, due to the intense competition between operators, the quality of itscommunications network has become critical. In order to ensure the communicationquality, operators’ communications network should be well maintained. The traditional way isto protecting a large number of staff to monitor the base station, engine room which costs a lotand inefficient. Therefore, the operators use information technology to monitor all basestations and equipment rooms by remote collection of power systems, environmentalparameters, forming a centralized monitoring system of power and environment. Power andenvironment monitoring system can greatly reduce maintenance cost, improve maintenanceefficiency, and ensure the communication networks well-functioning.Company X is a leader in the industry, however, one of their projects for region-H wasgreatly delayed, and lead to customer dissatisfaction. This article is to researchto analyze andexplore problems of the entire software development process, interviews were made, and thefishbone diagram method was used, combined with software engineering theory and thinking,to analysis the project.Found through analysis and research, the project’s main problem lies in the requirementanalysis. The data preparation requirements and functional requirements have a major impacton the success of the project, while several problems were found in these areas of project forRegion-H.So, the fishbone diagram and requirements engineering were used to find a solution, and finally find some waysto improve the requirement survey, requirement analysis, totaldesign and other aspects of the project.
