| Configuration Software is the process in the fields of software that the operators configure the application software of users according to the demands of application objects and control tasks. In a word, Configuration Software is an application program maker. With the rapid development of Auto-Control, Computer Science and Communication Technology, Configuration Software is becoming an active part in the monitoring field.FEP(Front-End Processor) uploads and downloads data between host computer and terminal or between individual workstation and peripheral equipments. FEP can safeguard host computer system, and increase the efficiency of the system. Configuring for FEP plays an essential part in accomplishing the function of it.Based on the design and development of the configure software for FEP, both the design of the software and the application of Visual C++ 6.0 in it are systematically introduced. In this dissertation, firstly, the concept of configure software is presented, and the difference between usual configure software and the configure software in this paper is explained. Afterwards, the structure of FEP and some important concepts and techniques are introduced. The structure and the design of the FEP configure software are the main contents of the paper, including multithreading, FTP, serial data transfer, WinSock and so on. And then how the idea of software engineering reflects in the configuration software is described. In the end, what I have worked on and what should be improved in the future is concluded.The Software related to the project has been checked and accepted. It is not only effective, dependable, real-time, all-purpose, fault-tolerant and easy to operate but also possessed of a friendly, simple and glorious interface. |
