Telecom industry is an important part of the national economy in a country, the total scope of telecom industry has incessantly extended and then, more and more problems follow it. The problems, massive information’s storage management, the urgent need for real-time services, increasing difficulties of network maintenance, need to be resolved rapidly in the telecom industry.The cloud computing provides some new ideas and methods to solve the above problems, it also has become a new technical direction in telecom industry, and also has great theoretical significance and huge economic benefits.As a leading global information and communications technology (ICT) solutions provider, and the world’s second-largest telecommunications base station equipment supplier, Huawei wishes to solve some problems in the telecom industry through "clouding" the traditional telecom businesses.Under such a context and considering the project requirement of Huawei Innovation Fund project-"cloud computing and its support network", this paper designs a cloud computing model for telecommunication operation, and analyses the components of the model detailed. The final cloud computing platform verifies the relevant models and methods’feasibility. The main works this paper completed are as follows:(1) This paper designs a cloud computing model for telecommunication operation and gives a cloud computing system definition by nine elements and a realization structure model.(2) According to the project practical requirements, this paper designs a infrastructure cloud platform model, analyses the components of the model detailed, and makes a formal model for the main part.(3) Study of application monitoring. Design and implement a application monitoring system, make it with the virtual machine monitoring system together constitute a multi-level operating status monitoring system to complete the monitoring work of the cloud platform.(4) Model optimization and validation. Based on the initial design of the cloud computing model, in the process of the cloud platform’s design, revise and improve the model continually, and the platform validates the feasibility of the cloud model. (5) Integrate the system module of the cloud platfrm. Integrate the application monitoring system into the cloud platform, and make it provide good service for the platform operation.
