Analysis And Design Of Hospital Information System For The Huhhot First Hospital

In recent years, the progressing hospital business and the increasing data volume raises higher demands on Hospital Information System (HIS) and increasingly highlights the defect of the original system. And the effective way to solve the problem is to develop HIS. HIS is a platform which provides collection, storage, processing, extraction and data exchange of patients’ diagnosis and treatment information and the administrative management information for each sections in the hospital to meet the needs of all users of the functional requirements with the computer hardware and software technology, network communication technology and other modern means.This thesis takes HIS for The First Hospital of Huhhot as the background, analyzes the overall business process of hospital and its sub-system business process and get the data flow diagram. With the adoption of structural analysis and design method, it designs the overall functional structure of the system as well as the sub-system. Database is designed within the outpatient department, inpatient department as well as the drug management so as to get the optimized database model.Finally, it summarizes the analysis and design of HIS for The First Hospital of Huhhot and sets the planning and prospect of realizing the system works.
