Development And Implementation Of The Email Client System Based On Embedded Operating System Of MeeGo

This thesis is on the basis of the existed research achievement, using the QML, JavaScript and C++language in QT Creator platform to develop an email client system for the tablet computer based on the Intel Oak Trail processor and embedded operating system of MeeGo.The host system uses Ubuntu based on the embedded Linux as the operating system, which can be effective compatible with the MeeGo in the tablet based on the Linux kernel. The interface and some simple functions are realized in QML and JavaScript. The other more difficult functions are realized in the interact of C++and QML. In the development process, we can set up a simulation running environment in the host to check the running status and problems conveniently. And then transplant the developed program to the tablet computer to run.The article is divided into six chapters:The first chapter introduces the research background and current situation.The second chapter shows the hardware and software platform and a description of system environment, the hardware is a tablet computer based on the Intel Oak Trail processor and the MeeGo system, the development environment is QT Creator.The third chapter introduces the whole system design scheme, including the detailed demand analysis and general structure.The fourth chapter is the detailed design and implementation of each module’s interface and function.The fifth chapter is the running method of the program and system test. And then give some bugs and modifying method for example.The sixth chapter is a summary of the thesis and points out the future work and research direction.
