This paper is based on the project about double stands skin pass mill on continuousannealing line based on the actual production,combined with the theoretical research ofthe elongation for temper mill and the practical situation,through a lot of field researchand data collection and simulation on the formation process of the control of elongationtheoretical analysis and research,it obtains good research results.Cold rolled steel flat products is to ensure the quality of key processes,theformation of flat rolling elongation is the most important process parameters,the size ofstrip elongation and a smooth flat strip directly affects the quality and depth ofprocessing machinery performance.Directed towards the characteristics of theelongation control for double stands skin pass mill, the paper conducted the followingstudy:(1) Introduce the component of elongation control for double stands skin pass milland the theory of measurement of elongation in detail,and put forward the control modesuit to elongation control for double stands skin pass mill.Meanwhile, primarily studyelongation control model of double stands skin pass mill and HGC, and it provides atheoretical basis for elongation control in the subsequent production process.(2) Combined with the theories of cold rolling and the theories of wavelet neuralnetworks,a mathematical model of rolling force based on wavelet neural networks isfounded.After the studying,training and testing of the model using practical productiondata,the fact is that it’s better than BP neural network rolling force model.The accuracyof the model is fit for engineering application.(3) This paper introduces the design of DMC-PID series control of elongationcontrol strategy to realize the on-line control of strip elongation control.With thesimulink toolbox of matlab to simulated,the fact is that, compared with traditionalPID-PID series control, DMC-PID series control has better dynamic performance,tracking performance and anti-jamming performance,and has a better control effect andhigher practical application value on the elongation control of double stands skin passmill.
