Three-dimensional reconstruction of medical images is a collection of two-dimensional image on the imaging device using3D computer reconstruction and synthetic lesions or human organs. It can select different reconstruction algorithms to display different organizations of internal spatial structure and physical properties.3D reconstruction technique makes it easier for doctors to observe and analyze the internal structure of the lesions. As the development of3D reconstruction of medical images, doctors can focus on the details of lesion area, based on the needs of the patient’s actual diagnosis. It can greatly improve the diagnosis rate. The3D reconstruction technique of medical images has become a hotspot of the current visualization field.On the basis of the tools package VTK of analytical visualization and medical image DICOM file, this essay will focus on the surface rendering algorithm and volume rendering algorithm of3D reconstruction algorithm and designs to implement a3D medical image reconstruction system. The system not only implements the DICOM format2D medical image slices according to the3D reconstruction of the different algorithms, but also accomplishes the interactive manipulation, such as scaling, rotation, and color scheme of the body reconstruction.The main content of the article is as follows.(1) The discussion and analysis of the purpose and significance of the thesis, summing up the technology development and research of3D reconstruction of medical images, an overview of the main research work.(2) Study of visualization development kit VTK function of the class structure and based on the lines of the drawing mode, combining with the medical image visualization of the basic framework, design of the3D medical image reconstruction system implementation process; analysis of a DICOM format of medical images, to achieve the DICOM image display and information extraction; comparative completed a medical image, Gauss filtering median filter and mean filter and simulation experiment.(3) Focus on the3D reconstruction algorithm of surface rendering and volume rendering algorithm; completed based on marching cubes algorithm research and simulation implementation; completed based on ray casting method,3D texture mapping method and maximum intensity projection MIP algorithm of volume rendering algorithm research and simulation implementation, as well as three volume rendering algorithm experimental comparison analysis; in based on3D reconstruction of3D reconstruction, the plane cutting technology, simulation of the reconstruction of body planar cutting.(4) Combined with the development of VTK tools in VC++6.0platform completed the design of the medical image three-dimensional reconstruction system, including system function design and interface design; the system can achieve DICOM format2D medical image selection, based on surface rendering algorithm of3D reconstruction and threshold adjustment, as well as the volume rendering algorithm of3D reconstruction, and to realize the three-dimensional reconstruction of amplification, narrow, arbitrary rotation angle and a variety of color configuration interaction.
