Because of the specific social background and low level of scientific and technological and industrial development, the majority of the seniors are poorly educated and know little about modern technology, it’s more difficult for thern to use modern mobile communication products.To solve those problems, helping the elderly also enjoy the latest developments of modern science and technology and the convenience of modern mobile communication technology. The core of this system is to combine the modern mobile communication terminal and mobile communication network and mobile Internet technology, offers five parts basic services on the telecommunication and life:"dialing call number","edit and send short massage","set reminders","set shield","phone book update" for the elderly.The thesis applies the basic methods of drive by the requirement, researches the living situation and actual demand of the elderly with relevant organizations. Sufficiently studies specific situation of the elderly on telecommunication and life. Statistic, classify and analyze their specific needs, finished defining five basic requirement, including "dialing call number","edit and send short massage","set reminders","set shield","phone book update". With the implementation of the five requirements, it can meet the basic needs of the elderly on telecommunication and life.In order to achieve desirable results and user experience, the system plan and design two subsystems including service platform system and customized mobile telecommunication terminal as business support system. Define the interface specification between platform and terminal, using Instruction of wireless data transmission, transfer the service platform of the instruction execution message to the mobile communication terminal. The communication terminal receives the instructions and executes relevant actions, performing function like phoning, texting, open/close reminder and add/delete reminder.Through the deployment and formal commercial of this system, which eliminate all the obstacles on operations when the elderly use basic function. The user as long as operate a shortcut keystroke of customized terminal and inform the agent of service platform, the rest of the work can be automatically complete. Making the mobile phone no longer reserved only for the young, it can also reach more users.
