In company with embedded system's comprehensive application and network becoming popular, embedded system accessing network has become a important direction and inenitable trend of embedded system application. Embedded Web Server is a important aspect of embedded system networking. Implementation of web server on embedded system not only overcome embedded system's rigid user interface, but also supply a kind of mode of embedded system long-distance application .This paper put forward a scheme of embedded web server implementation on 8-bit mcu. It included Ethernet interface and TCP/IP protocol. Both of them has been introduced in this paper. Ethernet interface include hardware circuit realization between 8-bit microprocessor and Ethernet control chip, and driver of Ethernet control chip. TCP/ IP protocol is a huge and complicated protocol. 8-bit microprocessor's resource is limited, and processing speed is not enough fast, so implementation of wholly protocol is impossible. We should simplify TCP/IP protocol. We simplify not only amount of protocols every layer but also content of every protocol. Of course the simplification should ensure that system can run steadily and safely.
