The Realization Of Remote Real-time Control Based On VxWorks And Embedded Web Server

With the development of Internet, the applications based on Web service are more and more popular. Browser/Server and Embedded Web Server come into being. And they are applied in many areas. VxWorks is very high-performance, stable and real-time as an embedded real-time OS. In this article, it runs on the Internet transmission module which is one part of"Internet Camera based on Embedded Real Time System". And embedded remote real-time control is realized in the way of migrating an Embedded Web Server to VxWorks.In the first chapter of this article, the research background is introduced at first. Then the system structure of remote real-time control based on VxWorks and GoAhead WebServer is presented. The main content of the second chapter is the hardware environment of the whole"Internet Camera Based on Embedded Real Time System". And the Internet transmission module which VxWorks and GoAhead WebServer are running on is mainly described. Chapter Three narrates the I/O system and file system of VxWorks5.5. Tornado2.2 which is an integrated development envirment for VxWorks5.5 is also simply introduced. Chapter Four presents the development of Board Support Package at the beginning. Then the migration of VxWorks and the building of TrueFFS file system are also finished. In Chapter Five, the migration of GoAhead WebServer to VxWorks is realized. In the last chapter of this article, the remote real-time control based on VxWorks and GoAhead WebServer comes true. The theory of Embedded Web Server is introduced. Meanwhile, HTML language and some API functions of GoAhead WebServer used in this system are included.The solution which is given in this article combines embedded technology and web technology together. It has many merits such as easy to be realized and extended, economical etc. Meanwhile, it can be applied to many areas.
