Based on the actual situation of Sulige Gas Field and supported by SU-10Block,combined with computer technologies and theories, a set of monitoring system of gasgathering station was designed and developed.Natural gas production is an important part of national energy supply. Moreover,China’s natural gas production consumes big input and large quantities ofemployment, high production costs and geographically disperses. In order to improvelabor productivity of natural gas production, reduce production costs, reduce the numberof employment and improve harvest efficiency, we must adopt advanced technologies toimprove the automation level of production.As industrial applications, the characteristic that gas gathering station monitoringsoftware is robust and real-time is very important. The system not only emphasizes onthe advanced nature, running speed and cost of its software, but also stresses thestandardization and modularization to reduce the coupling strength of the software, soas to provide the prerequisite for the promotion and application to other blocks withtechnical support, to reduce difficult to implement, to reduce capital investment andavoid duplication of effort, to achieve consistency of style and technology of softwareproduction, to realize the industrialization of software production. In order to overcomethe traditional software’s general shortcomings of long development cycle, poorstability and high development cost, the system selects the configuration software asdevelopment platform.This system has combined the modern automatic control technologies, artificialintelligence and modern management concepts and principles to design and develop theproduction monitoring system. Distributed systems platform controls through the virtualRS485bus, connecting control center with a large number of field devices, gatheringreal-time data, device information together. By mining computer potential applications,the use of multimedia technology combines alarm and message alert with the sound,flash, graphics, text, etc. for HMI information exchange. Integrating the corporatemanagement philosophy with the index analysis and data processing of current state of equipments and production system, a continuous, economical, efficient operatingplatform has been set up.SU-10gas gathering station monitoring system is a meaningful attempt andexploration of large-scale gas field automation system of Sulige Gas Field. Furtherdevelopment and implementation for other gas gathering stations’ monitoring systemsrequires only simple modifications and combinations, the design and development canbe easily obtained by the simple combination and modification of functions of theformer results, the function extension and software reuse are realized. The systemdevelopment, application and promotion bring a positive impact on the significantreduction in staff, work efficiency, production costs saving, and achieved certaineconomic benefits and social benefits.
