Property management has achieved initial results after long-term development, theassociated management ideas and models have been well studied and developed. Theconcrete can be divided into the following stages: the first stage labor managementstage, the management involves a wide range of content which is more complicated,daily work, and consumes enormous human and material resources; second stagecomputer management stage, this stage of computer operation, not only save a lot ofhuman, material, and the level of property management has also been improved toprovide people with better services; the third stage based on C/S mode or B/S mode, theproperty management level enhances greatly, the management is more convenient; thefourth stage, the development trend of the future will be towards the development ofartificial intelligence management.In this paper the design of residential property management system is mainlydeveloped for the Lake District’s property management company in JiuJiangShi, as atypical information management system, the system’s development tasks mainlyincludes three aspects: the server design, database design and maintenance, the clientapplication development. For the server design requires the server can response clientrequest effectively, requires the established database has the integrity and consistency,and has certain data security, such as required user’s password to use, etc.; and to theclient application requires friendly interface and function complete etc..After analysis the property management and the present status of the Lake District,the system mainly composed by the server connection, system login, user management,the village information and data maintenance module. The server connected with userscan let the users select the server and the database, the user can only use the database,but can not delete the database, so as to preserve the safety of the database. User loginprovide different users’ login. The community information manages the user. Datamaintenance provides the database’s recovery and reduction, etc.The system chooses Borland Company’s Delphi as the front development tool,using the integrated development environment, and all kinds of control, especially for the support of the database to complete database various operations, to achieve thepurpose of residential property management. The backend database used SQL SERVER2000, and integrated highly with related software.
