In recent years, people are more capable of using IT to produce and search data.Millions of thousands of database is used for business management, government offices,scientific research and engineering development, etc. And this momentum will continueto develop. Thus, a new challenge has been put forward: In the era of informationexplosion, almost everyone needs to face a problem and that is Information Overload.How can we not be overwhelmed by a vast sea of information from which to discoveruseful knowledge, to improve utilization of information? To make the data truly becomea company’s resources, only the full use of it for the company’s own business decisionsand strategy development services, or large amounts of data may become a burden, evenas junk. Therefore, in the face of people who are drowning in data, unable to cope withthe challenges of knowledge and information, data mining and knowledge discovery(DMKD) technologies have emerged and thrived, increasingly shown its great vitality.Taking distance education and training in Shaoxing Sunrise Training School as theexample, the paper begins by describing the personal status of distance education andscientific research background and the subject, giving the definition of data mining,functions and processes, analysis of a personalized distance education system contentand system framework, and points out the reasons for development of the system andthe need for remote character education. Second, focused on Web data mining methodsin the System, the system of scientific research in the mining results to explain how theinterests and hobbies of students in web site personalized distance education areclassified, which describes the necessity of the Web. At the same time, focused ondescribing the individual design of distance education systems, the paper gives arespectively detailed description from system architecture, page flow, database structureand other aspects of personalized distance learning system implementation. It designsthe core modules: module of personalization features, which describes how the modulegives the best match learning materials and makes the intelligent Web reasoning basedon user input information. Finally, it gives the design results, and specific policy proposals for inadequacy.
