Distance Education System Based On Web Log Mining

The widespread of the internet and the large amount of information providerich resources to data mining, which is the most widely used application basedon the Web research. It can find the data mining mathod of the usage modelfrom the Web data with the purpose to better understand the kinds ofapplications based on Web in order to provide better service. Because of thepotential value in application, Web usage mining has developed quickly bothin the research and commercial fields.With the increase combination of internet and education, inter-educationhas become a new issue in the development of present education and also thedevelopment direction of the technological mainstream of modern education.There exist some general problems in the inter-education such as the singleteaching model, simply added teaching resources and the low degree ofintelligence. However, there also exist great differences in learners' studyability, individual interest and habit, and individual study basis and efforts.Therefore, the contradiction is that the inter-education platform cannotsatisfy the individual requirements of learners. On the basis of introducingsome basic knowledge in data mining and Webmining, this paper mainly makesa study on Web log mining . The author raises Maximal Forward References anda refined Web log preprocessing technology called frame-filtering in thepre-processing of Web data. This paper also expounds the user Frequent PathsFast Mining Algorithm from the Web log,Firstly,frequent I-item sets whichmatch the criteria certain threshold are filtered out from web access logsby session matrix, which avoids generating a great deal of intermediate items;Then we can get relative pages by clustering pages fast in similar customergroup;after that, all the relative pages are combined by trace matrix, whichgenerates frequent paths.The author put forward the individual promotingsystem found on the Weblog mining in this article .Finally, the paperconstructs the application model of Weblog mining in the long-distance openingeducation websites and the construction of inter-education platform. In the,this kind of technology can help to grasp the characteristics and requirementsof individual study of learners and provide the individual teaching to learners.furthermore,the weblog mining can be good to the the long-distance educationteaching manage.
