E-Book is using computer to digitally recode something like text, images, or soundsin the optical, electrical, magnetic media equipment, and using specific devices to read, copy, or transfer it. In recent years, E-books to enter a stage of rapid development, manymanufacturers have entered the E-books field, many new technologies, new productshave sprung up. E-book reader is also emerging in the mobile phone, MP3, MP4andother removable electronic devices. But most of the mobile E-book reader supportedformats is very limited, only support TXT file reading. And although most of E-bookreader on your PC can rend PDF file but convenient to carry. To solve the above problem, this design use the ALIENTEK MiniSTM32development board as the hardware platform, on the basis of its hardware drivers, transplant μC/OS-II operating system, uC/GUI graphical interface tools, to design ae-book reader support PDF and TXT file format. The contents of this article include:1. To know the subject background, the development of E-book reader. Read theliterature of the E-book reader, to determine which function need to implement.2. Determine the development platform, portable operating system, graphical userinterface design software, and learn more about the structure of the embedded system3. Determine the software hierarchy. Portable Operating System. Design theinteractive interface by UC/GUI.4. To complete some various applications, such as TXT reader, PDF reader, imageviewer, drawing program, and so on.Complete the design of e-book reader.
