The Design And Implementation Of The Foreign Student Admission Information System

Since accession to WTO, China has been rapid development of higher educationto foreign students. With the increasing number of foreign students and the expandingscale of foreign student education，the foreign student education in our country isconfronted with more opportunities and extremely large challenges. In order to improveefficiency, it is important to modernize the environment of admission and management.This paper describes the develop background and significance, andsummarization of the home and aboard situation. Then, a set of solutions of the foreignstudent admission information system are proposed after the design of database and thefeasibility and demand of the system is analyzed. The main modules of this system areanalyzed and designed in details, including applications for online registration,admission, management, wherein online registration is consist of login, register, apply,search and modify, admission is consist of recruiting Scheme, check admission, addadmission information, management is consist of publish information, downloadmanagement, user management. The detailed statement of program design of functionmodules, interface and system test are made. Some relative technology, such asASP.NET network programming. C#program design and ADO.NET data access arebriefly analyzed, and use case, data sheet and function chart of important modules areattached.A three-layer system construction based B/S is applied to analyze and design thissystem. ASP.NET technique, ADO.NET technique and SQL Sever database techniqueare adopted as well to develop and implement the system to achieve the efficientmanagement of the stages form online registration to admission, and provide relatedinformation. The advantage of the system are complete function, superior performance,simply operation and so on.
