From primitive society to this day, tremendous changes have taken place in themeans of communication, with the advent of wireless communication technology,people gradually get rid of the geographical restrictions. As the time goes, the mobilecommunication technology developed from analog cellular mobile communicationtechnology to the digital mobile communication technology and the third generationmobile communication system which takes the TDMA or CDMA technology. Throughthe data transmission rate of the previous system is improved enormously, in face of theuser increase and more needs of high translate rate, they can’t take all of the work. Inorder to provide a faster data transmission rate and can access the broadband anywhere,TD-LTE come into the world, which take the OFDMA and MIMO technology. TD-LTEis the TDD version of LTE (Long Term Evolution) technology, an internationalstandards led by China.The access network of TD-LTE system is composed by two equipments, theBuilding Baseband Unit and Remote Radio Unit. The function of the Remote RadioUnit is to enlarge the signal coming from the baseband unit and send to antenna, and itreceive the user data and demodulate into baseband signal and then send to the BuildingBaseband Unit. The main function of the software of TD-LTE Remote Radio Unit iscomplete the initialization of three physical modules device and control the hardware,and calculate the parameter for the part that needs recalculate the compensation value.The software has a separate module for communication between the Remote Radio Unitand the Baseband Process Unit. In order to improve the robustness of system, thesoftware needs to provide the function of faults management, and in order to improvethe stability of the system, the software needs to provide the function of monitor.This paper focus on the problem that procedure-oriented development method ofembedded software and that led to the embedded software can’t extension with easy. Inorder to improve the scalability and extension with easy for the embedded system, thepaper supposed that the development cycle will be reduced and the stability of thesystem will be improved if it is based on easy to extension embedded system architecture and adopt object-oriented development method. In the process ofdevelopment of Remote Radio Unit, it takes application-oriented technology to explorethe problem of object-oriented development approach for embedded software, and itwill provide the reference of rapid develop the embedded software with high scalabilityand easy maintenance.
