The teaching of objected-oriented programming not only makes students understand the idea of object-oriented design, but the most important of all is teaching students how to apply it to the practice. For the ultimate goal of the teaching on objected-oriented programming is cultivating the students' hands-on ability and applying it to the practice. The case-based teaching method is exercised successfully in Harvard Commercial School, thus it's thought as a fashionable and successful teaching mode that deputizes for the future teaching direction. Applying case-based teaching to the computer teaching is still in the beginning stage in our country, however applying case-based teaching to the teaching of objected-oriented programming is seldom.According to the characteristic of objected-oriented programming subject and the features of the case-based teaching, the dissertation researches into the case-based teaching in the teaching on objected-oriented programming with the action research method so as to provide experience and suggestion for the program design teaching, which promotes development of the computer teaching and enriches the teaching methods.By surveying the relative literature, firstly the dissertation analyzes the present situation about the teaching of objected-oriented programming and summarizes the general process and difficulties of the traditional teaching of objected-oriented programming. The author makes the teaching scheme and the flow of the teaching by analyzing the applicability of the case-based teaching in the teaching on objected-oriented programming. Then, the author carried out the action research in The XinYang Vocational and Technical College and chosen four typical cases of objected-oriented VB.net language according to the teaching content and the characteristic of the students.
