With the rapid development of mobile communication technology and the increase of thenumber of users, mobile communication coverage is rapidly expanding. Traditional intensivearea of wireless network is all adopt base station equipment mainly cover in this area, in theplanning and construction of the wireless network covering area of the special machine andrelated facilities. The main problem is this operator need to spend a lot oftime and moneyin theroom rent and management, but also because of the ideal site room needs to get away from theresidentialarea,thiscovermodeisnolongeracceptable.In view of the above questions, many scholars have proposed a new network concept,whichproperlyusingtheRRU(RadioRemoteUnit)asanewkindofdistributednetworkmodel,this new model place the large capacity, macro cellular base station at the center machine space,then the baseband part will be centralized processed, while using fiber to distal RF modules inthe network planning places, the site, two modules using optical fiber transmission basebandsignal.RadioRemoteTechniquesaves morespacethanthetraditonal machinerooms, it is also afacilitate management, the Radio Remote Technique expanded the coverage of network, save upa large amount of money and time for the operator, cut down the time of networking, thus it canbe seen that the Radio Remote Technique owns a promoting prospect. At present several largedomesticcommunicationequipmentmanufacturerssuchasHuawei,ZTE,DatangandPutian,etc are developedand improvedinthe studyRRUequipment,strivefor the commercial competitionin3Gfieldinlead.Thistextistheresultofmanyresearches anddesignswhichbasedonthedefinitionofRRUwith CPRI protocol and it can be saperated into many steps. Firstly it introduces the modulecomposition of the RRU, working principle protocol specifications and the differences with likeproducts. Secondly, it introduces advanced Software Radio technology combined it with CPRIagreement specification. On the assumption of today's digital devices, design the mostreasonable RRU downward system structure of the link. Under the design framework, I finishedeach module parameter calculation, type selection and design of the chip. Furthermore, I do thesimulations on each module and uplink\downlink. In order to simulate real communication,finallyverifythecorrectionofdesignthroughemulation.
