With the small and medium enterprises in China continued investment ininformation construction, the industry provides a lot of management information systemsoftware for small and medium enterprises. Although the functionality has been perfect,there are many deficiencies for the actual needs of enterprises, which is mainly reflected:the price is expensive and often out of touch with the actual demand, the price is toohigh based on the expansion of the product. For these practical problems, the industryproposes MDA (Model Driven Architecture) software development method. Thedevelopment of MDA based model of software which separates business requirementsand implements, enhances the efficiency of software development, effectively controlsthe risk of construction, and further standardizes the development process. Thetraditional MDA develop-ment using UML (Unified Modeling Language), but there aresome issues: the lack of specific areas target, the difficulty of understanding thecomplexity of the modeling process, the difficulty of model transformation and so on. Inorder to let MDA truly play to their strengths in the field of business managementinformation, this paper based on the Department project which makes use of the idea ofa specific domain modeling, proposes platform-independent model for specific domainand the model separation mechanism based on the specific domain modeling to quicklybuild enterprise management information system.The enterprise management information system development methodologyproposed by this paper bases on the specific domain of platform-independent model,and put forward four types of function models for enterprise applications. Such amodeling mechanism refers to the MDA model system, in which specific domain ofplatform-independent model belongs to the meta-model layer, and the function modelbelongs to the model layer. The new model system can accurately model the descriptionof business field, help to reduce the modeling complexity, and improve the efficiency ofmodel transformation, and play to the advantage of MDA in the development in thefield of management information.The traditional model mapping is in accordance with the manner of the one-to-one correspondence. According to the characteristics of the field of business managementinformation, this paper proposes mapping mechanism based on the model of theseparation of model. The mechanism selects the use of mapping rules set on themeta-model elements according to the view type of the platform-independent modelelements, and these mapping rules in accordance with the model, View, control modeare divided into the data mapping rules, the interface mapping rules and the businessmapping rules. This could reach a one-to-many model of transition effects, andeffectively reduces the modeling effort, shortens the development cycle of the businesssystem.
