Discrete Device Tester For Embedded Software Design

Discrete devices is an important industry, which is representative of national basic scientific and technological strength.With the rapid development and wide application of electrionics and other related industries,the importance of discrete devices industry has become more prominent..In the entire industrial chain,testing is running through every part.It is thus clear that testing plays a very important role in the discrete devices industry.Therefore,research of the discrete devices testing and testing instrument has a positive and practical significance. Embedded technology has been widely used in many fields, including electronic test industry.Combination of embedded technology,test equipment becomes more powerful,while has been greatly improved in performance and measurement accuracy.This article describes the discrete devices testing instrument and the whole system structure, including software and hardware requirements. According to the test requirements in this design, we select S3C2440A chip as the core controlling board CPU, which integrates ARM920T kernel, while Nor Flash is selected as bootloader program memory and using Nand Flash as the test program and data memory.The memory system and driver program are designed in the paper.Based on the tester specifically features of starting, the bootloader called DDT Boot is designed. In the bootloader, the drivers of interface devices are designed to achieve communication between the tester and host computer. In addition, this paper expounds the design of bus driving functions of the tester.Based on the driving functions, complete bottom function design of each function board and finish functions packaging.This provide serviceable base function interface for designing test program, also increase versatility of the application program.Using packaged functions,design of test program can be finished easily. With the corresponding host computer software, we properly realize graphical programming of test program, which is full of application valuable.
