Faced with the threat of weak target and intensive maneuvering targets, how to improve the capability of radar weak target detection and intensive maneuvering target tracking become an extremely important and serious mission in the signal processing and data processing of modern radar system.The weak target detection in the radar signal processing and intensive maneuvering target tracking in the data processing is conducted in-depth study. The works of this paper are summarized as follows:1. Technology based on Keystone transform and track-before-detect algorithm based on dynamic programming(DP-TBD) are analyzed thoroughly. And related computer simulation results are also discussed.2. Hough transform and directional weight are proposed respectively to improve the poor tracking performance of DP-TBD algorithm. Simulation results show that these two improved algorithms can effectively remove the false track caused by energy spread. A method of weak target detection based on Keystone transform and DP of directional weight is also presented. It combines with the advantage of Keystone transform and the directional weight technique. This method can not only correct the range walk due to long coherent integration or high radial movement of the target, but also can improve the detection performance nearly20dB than the performance of the traditional CFAR detection.3. Probabilistic data association (PDA) algorithm, interacting multiple model (IMM) algorithm are introduced. Combined interacting multiple modes probabilistic data association (C-IMMPDA) algorithm are dicussed. Considering the impact of the common measurement, the association probability of C-IMMPDA algorithm is corrected At the same time the IC-IMMPDA algorithm is proposed. The results of simulation show that the performance of IC-IMMPDA is better than C-IMMPDA algorithm in the environment of dense targets. In addition its computation is very small, so it has great value in the actual project.4. In the Windows OS environment, using object-oriented design methods the IC-IMMPDA algorithm is implemented in radar simulation software. And the tracking performance is well.
