With the development of automative electronic control systems, the vehicle integrates more and more features, automotive electronic control systems are complex increasingly. Automotive electronic control technology relys on embedded software, so the function is complex increasingly, which has brought the development of embedded software a great deal of difficulty. Traditional development method of automotive electronic control system software is more and more restricted. AMT technology is the development direction of the automatic trasmission technology, and is the core of today’s car manufacturers. Therefore, how to seek a rapid, efficient development process is the goal of the major manufacturers have been striving for. In this thesis, According to the typical characteristics of the AMT system, Introduce the method of code generation based on model-based design, and use the Matlab/RTW code generation toolbox to achieve code generation of AMT system.Firstly, describe the AMT technology and automotive electronics software development briefly, and introduce the drawbacks of traditional development model and the advantages of model-based design. Secondly, describe hardware platform design and software system architecture of AMT system. And then study the secondary development technology of Matlab/RTW, Including how to write S Function and TLC file, use the RTW toolbox to develop the device driver module of AMT hardware platform. Complete the package of device driver module and study the generated code. In addition, according to the typical event-driven architecture of AMT system, the application layer to be divided into several levels, then use the Matlab/stateflow toolbox to build AMT system models. Complete code generation and integration of system models, and verify the generated code by the means of bench and road tests, and analyze the collected test data to verify the feasibility of the model codeThe test prove that using the model-based design has some advantage,including it has clear structure, convenient and functional extensions and cutting, code generation techniques speed up the development process, reduce the labor intensity of manually writing code. The generated code is clear,efficient and close to the handwritting code. The experiment results show that the method is effective and pratical.
