With the development of technology, real-time ranging play an increasing role in Industryproduction. At present, ranging system mostly include laser ranging、ultrasonic ranging、radarranging and so on.And because of it’s stable and little effect by the external, radar ranging hasbeen widely used.In this design, module of radar used IVS-148, and drive sends a signal by integratedcircuit.When deal with the mixing signal,this design,using the ads7890,achieve a AD conversionwith high speed.The Chip of ada7890has some feature like long bit、convert fast and simpleoperation.After that, deal the data with FFT on FPGA,and count out the diatance between thestationary or moving object and radar.As a system of real-time ranging,the MCU doesn’t fit becaues it’s slow computing speed.Designing on FPGA can content AD conversion and FFT with transform fast and accurate,and ithas the advantage of high level of integration、high reliability and programmable,it can shortenthe development cycle of system hardware,so this design choose achieve signal processing ofradar base on FPGA.
