Embedded systems technology in the development of computer technologywhich currently occupies an important position. It in all aspects of our liveshave a wide range of applications, including manufacturing, instrumentation,military equipment, process control, automobile and ship. Therefore, it can besaid that the application of embedded systems in depth to the various parts ofour lives, our production, learning and entertainment, etc. are of great help.The same time, the role played by the increasingly high demand forembedded devices, embedded hardware and software systems faster and faster,is also increasingly important. On this basis, the embedded operating systemand the corresponding GUI (graphical user interface) is also more importantdevelopment is also very fast. As the requirements for the use of embeddeddevices more efficient, simple, convenient, therefore, the role played by theembedded GUI in human-computer interaction is also increasingly evident.The main idea of this subject is integrated to build a S3C2440processor-based hardware development platform. S3C2440based on thehardware, embedded real-time operating system μC/OS II ported to thatabove, then the Graphical User Interface μC/GUI cut transplanted to the topof the operating system. Build the hardware and software developmentplatform, can play an efficient and user-friendly and easy-to-use purposes.From the following four steps to complete this work:First of all, made the introduction, the concept and development ofembedded systems, including embedded real-time operating system andembedded GUI. And lists the current mainstream operating system and GUI,and made a comparison and analysis of their performance and features.On thisbasis, explaining the reasons for the μC/OS-II and uC/GUI.Secondly, the preliminary work before the operating system and GUI cuttransplantation made a note. S3C2440the various characteristics of the hardware platform to make the analysis, which includes information on avariety of pin and interface resources. A cross-compiler environmentembedded developers need to build on a PC, so the process described.Finally, as the focus of this article, real-time operating system μC/OS IIand embedded Graphical User Interface μC/GUI kernel code analysis, andthen describes the S3C24402440hardware platform real-time operatingsystem μC/OS II transplantation process. On this basis, details the EmbeddedGraphical User Interface μC/GUI migration and configuration process.Finally, μC/GUI message operational mechanism analysis and description.Experiments and the introduction of the subject, the embedded systemshardware and software combination is very close. After the operating systemμC/OS-II and μC/GUI successfully transplanted, the development platformallows users to efficiently and convenient to use. The system platformembedded GUI design and transplantation, when more and more applicationsof the procedure is completed, the system can better play the role of thevarious resources, making the whole platform more practical help to the nextcommercial exploitation step.
