The development of computer science and technology and information andcommunication technology enhance the level of product design conditions, especiallynetwork technology and information projects, making the design of manufacturing ina distributed collaborative manufacturing and management of information technologystride greatly, and improve manufacturing efficiency and design flexibility, andconstantly promote modern mechanical product development mode. During thecollaborative design and development, in order to deal with the resource sharing andinteraction, the companies need to solve the problem that how to carry out theinteraction and information sharing effectively. With the combination of the networkcollaborative environment for product visualization and information managementtechnologies, the study of visual management and products collaborative designbecome the focus of research.Base on the analysis of variety of advanced manufacturing design mode, andaccording to the characteristics of manufacturing enterprise and present situation, wediscuss the product development and manufacturing application prospect within theenvironment of network information visualization and collaborative productdevelopment technology. It means practical significance by putting visualizationtechnology into collaborative product development. At the same time, base on themulti-agent collaborative technology and message-based cooperative controltechnology and single machine scheduling theory. So I conclude the new idea formanufacturing design by visual manufacturing design and web technology.
