To adapt to the rapid growth of traffic and load capacity requirements in order to ensure the smooth flow of road traffic, we need to maintenance, repair, reinforcement and renovation the highway bridge. Before carrying out these works, it’s essential to grasp the technical condition of the bridge scientific and accurate, because only when we take health monitoring on the highway bridge and have a proper understanding of the existing bridge, we can choose the economic, reasonable, repair and reinforcement proposal.Highway bridge health monitoring means non-destructive testing of bridge structures, collect the operating parameters of the bridge, and finally the identification, processing and analysis of operating parameters to evaluate the service, reliability durability and load carrying capacity of the bridge, give the health status report of the bridge, provide the basis and guidance for bridge maintenance and management, what’s more, to provide the real components, real long-term environmental design verification and the development of the theory of bridge design.This paper combines the status quo of the Inner Mongolia regional highway bridge, in connection with displacement, disturbance of the highway bridge, study and design the information collection, transmission, control of the monitoring system, make each monitoring point through the data transmission unit, connect to the Internet, then connect the monitoring center computer through a router, this system has Strong function and lower cost, it is reasonable allocation of highway bridge maintenance and reinforcement of maintenance funds, to ensure that highway bridge safety operations, and extend the life of highway bridge use, to minimize losses caused by the highway bridge accidents, highly practical.
