The Research Of Technical Support In Government Informationalization

In the process of China’s information technology construction, the construction of government information technology is at a crucial and essential position. Using modern information technology, we can greatly improve the way to collect, exchange and publish government information, increase the government work efficiency and the quality of decision-making significantly. When the government is exercising its functions, the modern information technology can provide favorable and sufficient information assurance and technical support approaches, so as to adapt to the national economic and social development, and then to serve public more effectively. Just for this reason, the level of government information technology construction has gradually been a standard to measure whether the operating mode of a government is advanced or not.The development of information technology advances with each passing day and a variety of technologies emerge one after another. However, not all the technologies can be applicable to the construction of government information technology, especially after integrating local field conditions. How to choose and how to use information technology has been one of the crucial factors, which will determine the success or failure of the construction of government information technology.Taiyuan City, the inland capital city of Shanxi, has its information technology construction relatively lagging behind. However, with the slogan of "building a first-rate capital city" being put forward, Taiyuan City has made rapid development in many aspects, which include the construction of government information technology. The starting point of this paper is, by taking into consideration the actual conditions of Taiyuan City, to discuss how to use information technology to lay a solid foundation for the construction of government information technology and develop an efficient and unified service-oriented government, to make leapfrog development for transformation, and to provide guarantee for the goal of building a first rate capital city. Research contents primarily focus on choices, applications and meanings of the construction of government information technology of Taiyuan City. This paper divides the contents of Taiyuan City government information technology into three basic sections, namely construction of office platform, construction of website, as well as construction of network platform. Through analyzing theories and effects of VPN technology, intrusion detection technology, digital authentication technology, domain management technology, distributed component technology, Web service technology and so on, combining these technologies with the actual conditions of Taiyuan City, and applying it to the process of the construction of these three parts, we have come up with a set of technical support system for the construction of government information technology, which can provide a reference for Taiyuan City. Finally, this paper discusses effects and meanings of this set of system in the process of future construction and development of information technology in Taiyuan City.
