The monitoring and analysis of pulse oxygen saturation has been widely used inclinical guardianship of critically ill patients, post anesthesia care and surgical recoveryof the sick, breathing sleep research and community medical care and other aspects.However, due to the single placement of transmission oxygen saturation instrument, it isdifficult to realize effective monitoring of oxygen saturation on the human body frommultiple sites (such as the forehead, chest, back, etc.). Therefore, many researchinstitutions and researchers began to study reflective pulse oxygen saturation at thesame time. However, relative to the transmission pulse oxygen saturation, the report ofthe clinical monitoring data on the reflection pulse oxygen saturation less maturereflection sensor has not yet appeared in the country. This article is based on thediffusion transfer theory, the photoelectric reflex sensor is applied for detection of pulseoxygen saturation, with TMS320VC5509ADSP development platform, a ReflectanceOxygen Saturation Detection System was developed, and gives the formula forcalculating the oxygen saturation. The detected pulse signal also used for sleep featureextraction.In terms of hardware devices, due to the design goals of the device is a portabledesign and human physiological signals drowsiness detection system, thus its powerconsumption, reliability and anti-jamming capability for the equipment are the mainconsiderations, so we chose the DSP chip as a system control chip. The photoelectric pulse oxygen saturation sensor select a publicproduction model in South Korea alternating SEL660905-660nm wavelength and940nm wavelength light-emitting diode model for the photoelectric SDL45-2photodiodes made of reflective pulse oxygen saturation sensor acquisition of pulseoxygen saturation signal acquisition and the pulse signal by amplifying and filteringinto the DSP chip. Throughout the process, the result collected by this system iscompared with the senor of transmission pulse oxygen saturation which was producedin Beijing. The results showed that the homemade reflective sensor could be used insignal acquisition, and acquisition better position than the company’s transmissionsensor. DSP chip to convert the pulse signal through the built-in10-bit ADC, after theAD conversion we remove the baseline drift and frequency interference, the de-noisedpulse signal is displayed and the pulse rate is extracted. This paper selects the DSP chipto prepare for the next portable system. In this paper we collected the sample entropy of pulse signal in waking anddrowsiness states after removing the noise, the program of sample entropy is written inMATLAB on a PC. The experiments show that the sample entropy of pulse signal canbe used as objective physiological indicators of drowsiness detection. This provides anew method for drowsiness detection. The system is easy to carry, easy to operate,better, can lay a good foundation for drowsiness detection for the future.
