Design And Application Of Automation Framework For QTP

Recently, with the improvement of software testing technology. Traditional manual testing meets the huge challenge with the innovation of software technology, the larger software scale and shorten the development period. So the development of automation testing technology has contributed to the further development of testing industry. Although with the researchment of third-party testing tools which have made the development automation testing,It is not enough for the main resolution of automation testing by relaying on the third-party testing tools in the practice of enterprise projects.So the automation testing framework is put forward in order to achieve high-efficiency,high-quality software automation testing.In this paper we introduce the research background of automation testing,and put forward the automation testing framework based on QTP by introducing the common third-part automation testing tools and the development of automation framework. The framework is again developed on the basis of the automation testing tool Quick Test Professional.With the Combination of QTP characters and the software characters,the framework is divided into many modulars such as Configuration file,Faction libruary,Test case,Test data,Test script,Log and test report. These modulars are all developed and researched in detail.Moreover,we put the framework into the application of MIS project.From the test results,it comes to the conclusion that the framework can save43%of the time to improve work efficiency and achieve cost savings. At the end, the paper summarizes the main researched tasks and prospects the following work.
