Research And Implementation Of Automation Functional Testing Framework On Web System

Along with the rapid development of Internet throughout the world, Web technology has been universally applied, as well as the continuously increase of Web system's scale and complexity. How to guarantee the correctness and reliability of Web system becomes more and more attentive. Web system testing has become an important part in Web software development process. Traditional software testing method and technology cannot be fully applied in Web system testing. The lower efficiency and the poorer coverage ratio of manual testing need to be resolved as soon as possible. So how to carry out automation testing and improve testing efficiency has become challengeable to each developing team. However automation testing is not universal, only can strictly designed automation testing framework decrease maintenance costs and improve testing efficiency. As a result, it's very significant to do researches on automation testing framework.Firstly, this article introduces the background of the research and current development situation at home and abroad, and elaborates some knowledge about Web software testing and automation testing technology. Then the article analyzes the design of current automation testing tools and automation testing framework. On the basis, the article proposes a robust, easily-maintenance and easily-expansion automation functional testing framework according to the characteristics of Web system, and introduces overall structure of the framework, and elaborates the design and implementation of each function module. Thirdly, the article applies the automation functional testing framework to Open Lab Management System project, and constructs User Mind Module using software automation testing theories and user cognitive psychology theories, which instructs the design of test cases, and makes assessment of the application of the automation testing framework, which checks its effectiveness. At the end, the article summarizes the main work of the research, and prospects the following work.
