George Gerbner says’Although it seems that new media will emerge every day, there is no sign showing that the mass ritual in the TV is declining and its influence is increasingly globalized.’Along with the emergence of new technologies, new media become the people’s favor. However, we might ask ourselves,’When have we left the TV?’In traditional areas, TV penetration is still growing. In the context of the integration of media, TV, combining with new technologies, has become part of the new media, such as network TV, video, mobile TV,"Micro-TV", etc. Television is not outdated but its influence is everywhere. This study concerns about the impact of television, especially the impact of drama on youth values. Based on cultivation theory and with values as the theme, this study explores the influence of TV viewing behavior and involvement on young people’s cultivation. At the same time, this study introduces demographic variables into the analysis to understand the specific factors that influence teenagers’ values and examine the relationships between these variables and ’cultivated’ effects through further analysis.Text analysis and questionnaire are used in this study. The former is used to analyze values of TV series "The era of bare marriages" while the latter is used to understand the relationships between the audiences viewing behavior, involvement and cultivation of values. The study illustrates that the audience’s viewing behavior and involvement have a positive correlation with the cultivation effects of the values in the TV series. The more viewing time, the deeper the involvement, the more agreement with the values of the drama, that is, the values acculturation effect is more obvious. At the same time, there is an inherent link between the variables that affect the ’cultivated’ effects.
