At present, with the rapid development of automatic control technology, embeddedsystem technology,3G communications network and biological technology, marineaquaculture, which plays a key role in marine economy, extend the requirement into highlyintelligent-automatic control field. Nowadays, however, with the problems of overfishing,water pollution, and some other bad factors becoming increasingly serious, marine-fishingproportion in fishery dropped substantially, and traditional resources of fishery suffer aserious recession. Marine aquaculture industry, urgently need upgrade, from straightforwardtype of aquaculture to technology intensive and sustainable development type.Presently, with the arrival of3G era and the extensive coverage of3G network and highperformance of3G technology in China, the transfer of large capacity, rich media digitalcontent which is featured with three-dimensional, HD video and digital sound, through3Gwireless network, has become achievable. ARM-Android embedded system is now widelyused in smart phones, PDA and portable intelligent terminals, which lays the foundation forrealization of mobile wireless-remote-monitoring system.This system is integration of3G communications technology, ARM-Android embeddedsystem and aquaculture-cages remote monitoring, which makes up for the deficiency of thetraditional aquaculture-cages monitoring. The portable monitor terminal cooperates with theaquaculture-cage detecting terminal, to achieve wireless-remote-monitoring function, withwhich it is available to get seawater parameters, such as real-time temperature, salt andoxygen concentration in seawater, and the speed of wave flow on the seawater surface, so doreal-time video of aquaculture cages. With all above, commands can be sent by portablemonitor terminal to aquaculture-cage detecting terminal through3G wireless network toregulate seawater factors, and to avoid the destroy of big winds and waves on the sea.
