This subject comes from National Natural Science Fund "The Study of Virtual Product Surface3D Painting Method based on Real-Time Force Feedback Technology" project (51175058), studies the modeling and simulation of rice paper in virtual painting. Currently the domestic and overseas researches in this area still have boundedness:lacking human computer interaction process, without the consideration of the haptic factor’s influence on rice paper model’s parameters. In view of this research status, this paper brings in an advanced human-computer interaction technology------force feedback technology to rice paper modeling and simulating process, truly affects the ink diffusion simulation effect on rice paper. This paper’s study achievement establishes a firm foundation for the further study of Virtual Product Surface3D Painting Method.This thesis studies the attributes of rice paper, models different types of rice paper model based on the theoretical basis of rice paper model, studies the attributes of water and ink particle, discusses the ink diffusion algorithm and the ink diffusion display process based on the theoretical basis of ink diffusion, brings in Phantom Desktop force feedback device, studies the haptic factor’s influence on several parameters during painting process, studies the ink density distribution status in diffusion area. The development platform of the simulation system is Microsoft Visual C++6.0, the graphics development platform is OpenGL and the haptics development platform is OpenHaptics. Experiment result shows that the simulation effect is good.
