| With the rapid development of the computer and mobile communications techniques, more and more users enjoy a service provided by mobile terminal software. Digital trunking system, which supports one-to-one and one-to-many call, is a type of special mobile communication system which is used for dispatching and emergency communications. Along with the increasing number of mobile phones and the improving of performance, it is very convenient to insert trunking transceiver into smart mobile phone platform. From the development of trunking communications system based on smart mobile terminal, the software based on Windows and Linux platform has been designed and became mature. However, another popular platform of Android, which is open-sourced and based on Linux, is developing very rapidly and occupying a large porting of market. While open, extensible SIP control protocol is the most widely used protocol in IP voice communication, which has got more and more wide application. Thus it is reasonable to development a trunking communication system software based on the Android platform and SIP, which is of good prospects.This thesis firstly summarizes the research background, significance, and the state-of-art of the trunking communication system, as well as the IP phone software and popular smart phone platforms. Then the characteristics, the system architecture, the application components of Android are introduced and analysis in detail. Based on the description of VoIP, SIP and SDP protocols, the thesis analyzes the communication mechanism and solution for Android-based, trunking communication system. The software for client and server process are designed and implemented, which finalize the communication process for trunking communication system. The test environment is constructed for implemented software. The test on actual implementation shows that it is functional, stable and extensive. The more functions could be implemented further based on current version. |
