With the continuous development and integration of Computer technology, Global Positioning System(GPS), Geographic Information System(GIS)and Communication technology, which are within easy reach the improvement of transportation equipment and enhance the efficiency with a powerful technical support. How to apply these technologies to the railway monitor display system draws the strong concerns and attentions of the majority of researchers. In this background, this thesis have designed a set of high-speed train monitor display platform system in order to provide technical solutions which showing the real-time status information on electronic map and playing the line scene in the train running process.This thesis took the research design and implementation of high-speed train monitor display platform as background. Introduced the current situation of research in the field at home and abroad and then selected the development approach which using the GIS component of MapX integrated secondary development of electronic map and using the DirectShow technology exploited the visual playback display software. Described the relevant theoretical knowledge about MapX and DirectShow. Then proposed the overall design framework which including the train-vehicle terminal devices, communication networks, and monitor display software.Firstly, this thesis created MapX electronic map with Visual C++, achieved the basic functions of electronic map,such as map zoom、pan、select and so on. Based on these, discussed in detail the specific development process from the data communication, data analysis, database design, real-time monitor position and track replay and some other main problems. For the characteristics of high-speed train running, this thesis improved the electronic map matching algorithm based on the shortest distance algorithm,designed three main projection function for map matching, solved the problem which train vehicles deviating from the track heading and obtained a good matching accurary.Then, this thesis also discoursed the development process of the visual playback display software according to the basic operation of control of visual playback, search positioning, auxiliary display and some other different function modules. This thesis used Video Mixing Renderer technology to realize the weather scene bitmap real-time overlay to the visual screen,enriched the display scene and gived a solution for the synchronization of multi-threaded program.Lastly, this thesis took these two softwares which composing the monitor display platform testing in the laboratory LAN environment with the actual data collected in the high-speed passenger line of Wuhan-Guangzhou. The test results show that the monitor positioning of display platform is accurate for trains running real-time status,the screen of electronic map and visual render are clear, smooth, reaching the expected results of subject.The implementation of whole high-speed train monitor display platform through almost all software technology to realize,which having the low cost, good reliability, good compatibility and easy to transplant.
